In addition to China, Artepharm Co. has received international certificates of registration for Artequick in Cambodia, Myanmar, the Comoros, Madagascar, Tanzania, Kenya, Congo-Kinshasa, Congo-Brazzaville, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and 10 other malaria-endemic countries. In a number of these countries Artepharm Co. has also established marketing and logistics centres based on geographical distribution – including Cambodia, Kenya and the Comoros. In the other countries the company has established sales agency relationships with local distributors. In Nigeria, Artepharm Co. has set up a joint venture with local partners engaging in the marketing of Artequick and promotion of the FEMSE program. Through these offices and associations, Artepharm Global Corp. will be able to expand the supply of Artequick to both urban and rural areas.
On the private market side, Artepharm Global Corp. is targeting private pharmaceutical distribution companies, pharmacies, hospitals and clinics in malaria-endemic areas. Based on the advantages of low cost, low toxicity, high efficiency and short course of treatment, Artequick is rapidly becoming much more accepted among doctors, pharmacists, professionals and consumers. It is now #1 in sales in the private market of several registered countries, including Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria.
